Our playoff hopes took a very serious blow yesterday. DC United came from behind to beat the New England Revolution 2-1 at RFK Stadium. Liberian striker Francis Doe notched a brace for United after Taylor Twellman had opened the scoring. Click here for a match report. The loss drops New England to 12-10-7, and third in the East. Since the All-Star Game, the Revs are 2-6-4. The pressure will be on Steve Nicol to turn things around for New England before the playoffs begin.

I love Dichio, he is the ultimate fan favorite and will be remembered forever, but if we get a DP that plays up front next year then that automatically puts him on the bench.
However, I believe that if he isn't directly on the pitch that he will have some sort of position with the club. He has brought his family with him and has been involved in the community. Too hard for him to just pack up and leave now!!
