Man, things are getting serioux. I am seriouxly very excited about yesterday's trade. When I first saw the rumour, I wasn't sure if it was serioux, but it turns out, Mo was very serioux about bringing Serioux to TFC. Seriouxly though, all of this "Serioux" wordplay is getting a little annoying and overused.
That's the only bad thing about this trade though, as acquiring Adrian Serioux was exactly what we needed. Yesterday, Buzz Carrick at 3rd Degree cleared up some more details on the trade. We sent Dallas a first round draft pick in 2010 and some allocation money. If you remember, when we acquired Fuad Ibrahim last summer, we sent the Hoops a second round draft pick in 2010. When you put this together, Dallas has both of our first and second round draft picks next year. After our haul at this year's draft, I could really care less about this. SBI is reporting that the allocation amount was $50,000. Not too bad at all!
