Just one measley point

One point. That's all we need tonight to secure the 2009 Voyageurs Cup, and to bring home our club's first ever trophy. This day could end up being the most significant in our club's history at the end of the day.

Will we be able to rise to the standard and make it happen? Last year we failed, and it sucked. Let's not focus on that though. This match needs to be hyped up. I've seen headlines and stories about the potential friendly with Real Madrid, and no one seems to give a rat's ass about our nation's club football tournament. Yes, it's small, but it's a start.

We're in Vancouver with less than a full squad. Amado Guevara and Marvell Wynne are missing tonight's match through international duty, and O'Brian White will still be missing through injury. Nonetheless, he has made the trip, so he must be nearing fitness as he's getting used to traveling with the team. You have to guess that Chris Cummins will field a 4-3-3, with Dichio being the anchor in the middle of our attack. Here is how I think we will line up tonight...

I'm not thinking of anything but a win for Toronto. We only need a point, but we won't play for that. We'll go out there to win the match, and if that happens in the end, we'll fully deserve the tournament. Both of our 1-0 wins could have been by more if not for some poor finishing.
